Adeline Berodt, age 91, of Dixon, Iowa, died in the Wheatland Manor Nursing Home Friday, October 16, 2009. Adeline was born February 16, 1918, in Walcott, Iowa to Ben and Hulda (Moeller) Dietz. Adeline married Ralph Berodt June 25, 1938 in Dixon. In life, Adeline was a member of the Pythian Sisters, Royal Neighbors, and American Legion Auxilliary Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 19, 2009, at the Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland, Iowa, with Reverend Lynne Bisson officiating. Burial will follow at Dixon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 pm on Sunday, October 18, at the funeral home. Adeline is survived by her husband Ralph; daughter Dianne Anderson of Wheatland and son Richard (Sue) of Dixon; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 grandchildren.
