Alberta W. Martens, age 89 of Lowden, passed away on Thursday August 12, 2021 at the Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden on Tuesday August 17 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Daniel Redhage officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Alberta was born May 8, 1932 in Lowden to Albert and Frieda Kroemer Martens. There are no immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Leroy. Alberta was very active in Trinity Lutheran Church, holding many offices and being heavily involved in the Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the Lutheran Laymen's League. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed playing cards and gardening.
