Alice H. Rowold, age 102, passed away on Thursday November 6, 2025 at Ridgecrest Village in Davenport. Per Alice's request, she was cremated and there will be no services.

Alice was born September 22, 1923 in rural Bennett, Iowa to August and Ella (Beuthien) Horman. She was married to Gerald Rowold on August 10, 1946. He passed away on June 23, 2017.

Survivors include her sons Robert of Davenport and Michael of Lowden; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brother Harold (Mary Louise) Horman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Darwin; brothers Raldo, Clarence, Earl, and Elmer; and sisters Marvella Fehling, Erna Rowold, and Irene Rowold.

Alice was a devoted farmwife who also was a great cook along with being a caring and loving mother. Through the years she enjoyed traveling with her husband to Army reunions.
