Alma M. Kruckenberg, age 93, of Lowden, Iowa, died at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home on November 7, 2010. Alma was born August 6, 1917, in Rural Lowden to William Brockmeyer, Sr. and Alvina (Burmeister) Brockmeyer. Alma married Arthur Kruckenberg on November 16, 1941 at Lowden. Arthur died May 20, 1989. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden, Iowa, with Reverend Victor Young officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, November 10, unitil service time at the church. Arrangements With Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Alma and her sisters operated the Trio Caf� in Lowden for many years. She is survived by her sister: Dorothy (Ralph) Gade of Wheatland. Alma was preceded in death by parents, husband, brother William Brockmeyer, Jr and sister Arlene Brewer.
