Anna L. Ganzer, age 81 of Wheatland, passed away on Saturday November 8, 2014 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday November 12, 2014 at 10:30 A.M at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Reverend John Cofield officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 11, 2014 from 4-7 P.M at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. Anna was born on April 25, 1933 to Frank and Thelma (Welch) Kiburz in Monticello, Iowa. She married Roland Ganzer on June 12, 1956 in Independence. He died on April 29, 2005. She is survived by her sons, Frank (Joyce) Ganzer, Bill (Barb Gerber) Ganzer and Joe (Laurie)Ganzer, all of Wheatland; daughter, Amelia (Tony) Liberio of Wheatland; grandchildren, Alicia (Kurt) Syslo, Amanda (Jerrad )Peiper and T.R. (Meghan) Ganzer; great grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Kourtney, Carter and Kadon; brother, Ken Kiburz of Marion; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Kiburz of Bedford, Iowa. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Bill; and grandson, Joseph Timothy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
