Anne Holladay, age 86, of Tipton (formerly of Clarence), Iowa, died in her home on Monday, September 6, 2010. Anne was born March 21, 1924, in Armstrong, Iowa, to Robert and Anna (Edler) Mixell. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 10, 2010, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, Iowa. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Mt Vernon, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, September 9, at the Funeral Home. Anne had worked at Collins Radio for 22 years. She was very giving and crocheted many things for people. Anne loved board games and playing cards. Her family was very important to her. She is survived by: her daughters-Sherry Willey of Oskaloosa and Barb (Dick) Voss of LeClaire; sons-Don (Maxine) Shriver of Platteville, Colorado, and Dave (Linda) Shriver of Sibley, Iowa; sister-Betty (Ed) Horstmann of Davenport; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 5 sisters.
