Arthur (Art) L. Brown, age 85, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday June 2, 2007. Arthur was born November 13, 1921. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church in Daphne, AL. Burial will take place at 9:30 am, on Friday, June 8 in the Clarence Cemetery, Clarence, Iowa. Arrangements with Wolfe in Bayview Funeral Home Daphne, AL and Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Art was a native of Davenport and resident of Daphne, Al. He and his wife retired from the automobile business in Davenport and moved to Daphne, AL in 1982. During WWII he served as a B-17 pilot with the mighty 8th Air Force in England and participated in the air battles over Germany. Arthur was survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Arthur was survived by his wife of 63 years, Bonnilee; 3 sons, Dr. Barry (Mary Katherine) Brown of Mobile, AL, Craig (Janet) Brown of Dardenne Prarie, MO, and Patrick (Victoria) Brown of Danville, CA.
