Avery K. Phillips, 7 months, of Clarence, Iowa, died July 15, 2012. Avery was born November 20, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospital to Marissa Phillips. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at St. John's United Church Of Christ in Clarence, Iowa, with Pastor Lynn Butterbrodt officiating. Burial will follow at Clarence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Wednesday, July 18, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. She is survived by his mother Marissa Phillips, maternal grandparents Ron and Robin Phillips of Clarence, maternal great-grandfather Don Brinkley of Clarence, aunt Brittany (Cale) Bixler of Clarence, uncle Thomas Phillips of Clarence, special aunt Jenise Vargason of Stanwood, and cousins Braxton and Bailey Bixler of Clarence. Avery was preceded in death by great-grandmother Kathleen Brinkley.
