Services have been postponed until Wednesday, January 27. Barbara A. Mooney, age 77 of Clarence, passed away on Thursday January 21, 2021 at the Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 27 at 11:00 A.M at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with Reverend Matt Schneider-Adams officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Clarence. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M until service time. Masks and social distancing will be required for those attending. Barbara was born on January 30, 1943 to Wilbur and Viola (Hipshur) Debner in Davenport, Iowa. She married Kenneth Mooney on May 19, 1979 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He died on May 13, 2014. Barb liked working with the public, especially at her job at the bowling alley. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sewing. Barbara is survived by her sons Jeff and Craig Werling of Clarence and Jason (Kelli) Mooney of Cedar Rapids; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother Rob Debner of Clarence; sister Joann DeMoss of Clarence; and nieces and nephews.
