Barbara J. Riddle, age 69 of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday July 4, 2015 at the Heritage Nursing & Rehab Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2015 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with Pastor Barbara Krueger officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mechanicsville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 5-7 P.M at Chapman's in Clarence. Barbara was born on January 21, 1946 to Robert and Margaret (Britcher) Burgess in Muscatine, Iowa. She is survived by her son, Jarrod (Emily) of Minneapolis, MN; daughter, Shelly (Robin) Cooper of Reinbeck, IA; brother, Robert Burgess, Jr. of Stanwood; and 4 grandchildren, Nicole, Jeremy, and Caitlin Edler, and Cyrus Riddle. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
