Beverly J. Mente, age 88 of Wheatland, passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at Wheatland Manor. Private memorial services will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland with Pastor Tessa Cavey officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery in rural Wheatland. There will be a celebration of Joe and Beverly's lives at the Wheatland High School Activities Center from 12:00 – 4:00 PM on November 12, 2022.

Beverly was born May 14, 1934 in rural Toronto, Iowa to Clarence and Hilda (Griesbach) Rogers. She married Joe Mente on November 16, 1952 in Wheatland. He passed away on October 4, 2022.

She is survived by her sons Scott (Kelly) of Wheatland and Greg (Vickie) of Anthon, Iowa; daughter Barbara (Dave) Boeckmann of Wheatland; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Beverly enjoyed traveling with Joe, going to all of her families' ballgames, quilting, working in the field (especially driving the Cat Challenger tractor), and her grand and great grandchildren. She was a previous 4-H leader, teaching many girls important things in life.
