Beverly Ann Templeton, age 68 of Clarence, passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 16, 2023 at her home. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, October 20 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. A meal will follow visitation at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence. Burial will be at a later date in the Clarence Cemetery.

Bev was born on February 13, 1955 to August and Louise (Suchomel) Hoffner in Johnson County, Iowa. She married Lee Templeton on November 9, 1991 in Tipton, Iowa.

Bev enjoyed bingo, fishing, canning, crocheting, playing cards, and attending farmers markets. She loved her yearly vacations with Lee, and sending out cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.

Bev is survived by her husband Lee; children Chris Clark of Monmouth, David (Sarah) Hoffner of Monticello, and Robert (Mindy) Lehman of North Liberty; grandchildren Kristopher (Jannell) Clark of Lost Nation, Isabel Lehman of North Liberty, Johnathan and Josephine Hoffner of Monticello, and Libby Brewster of Maquoketa; great grandchild Reagan Clark; sisters Barbara (Robert) Maddix of Iowa City, Victoria (Harry) Dundee of Olin, and Virginia (Brent) Hussman of Hopkinton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Robert Hoffner, Vincent Hoffner, Vicky Clark, and Virgil Hoffner.
