Bonnie Jean Fox, age 84 of Wheatland, passed away on Sunday August 24, 2014 at Wheatland Manor. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2014 at 10:30 A.M at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland with Reverend John Cofield officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 26, 2014 from 5-7 P.M at Chapman's in Wheatland. Bonnie was born on July 11, 1930 to Fay and Elnora (Willert) Emerson in Toronto, Iowa. She married Warren Fox on October 12, 1948. He died April 6, 1979. Bonnie sold Stanley home products for 45 years. She was the Grand Chief of the Epiphean Sisters of Iowa from 1988-1989, was a member of the Big Rock women's guild, Legion Auxiliary and was a member of the Lincoln Highway rediscovery group. She is survived by her son, Wes (Nancy) of Lowden; daughter, Jan Hamdorf of Wheatland; two special nieces, Kathy Lopez and Lori Weaver; sister, Myrna Cavanagh of Maquoketa; 4 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 step grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren; son, Lawrence; grandson, Kelly; 3 sisters, Carol, Donna, and Garla; and brother, Roland.
