Bonnie Jean Rochau, age 84, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday February 4, 2018 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf House of Mercy. Visitation will be at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Thursday February 8 from 4-7 p.m. There will be a family celebration of life at a later date.
Bonnie was born on September 11, 1933 at Davenport, Iowa to Clement and Mable (Stitcher) Anderson. She was married to Arnold Rochau on May 9, 1953 at Davenport.
Survivors include her husband Arnold; daughters Sharyl (John) McCusker of Cedar Rapids and Tami (Joe) Frazier of Coggon; grandchildren Trevor (Stacy) McCusker, Kyle McCusker, Lyndsey Frazier and Brittney (Brad) Arends; great grandchildren Cason and Rory McCusker; sisters Janet Woollard of North Carolina and Darlene Dailey of Port Byron, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald and Sonny.
Bonnie liked to sew, dance and play with her grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a great mom and grandma.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf House of Mercy or the University of Iowa Paleative Care unit.
