Brooks J. Haesemeyer, age 55, of Mechanicsville, Iowa, died Thursday, September 7, 2006, suddenly at his home. Brooks was born March 30, 1951, in Lisbon, Iowa to Carl and Hazel (Ulferts) Haesemeyer. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at St. John's United Church Of Christ in Clarence, Iowa. Burial will follow at Stanwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Monday, September 11, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Brooks was preceded in death by his father. Brooks was survived by his mother, Hazel of Hudson Wisconsin, his brother Vance (Wendy) of Hudson, Wisconsin, his sister Carlotta (Harvest) Williams of Woodberry, Minnesota, a niece Julia, a nephew Elliot and his former wife, Nancy Haesemeyer of Mechanicsville.
