Carol Lorrie Strackbein, age 89 of Lowden, passed away on Friday September 19, 2014 at Wheatland Manor. There will be no services. Carol was born on May 23, 1925 to Paul and Betty (Beard) Rynott in Davenport, Iowa. She married Lewis Strackbein on December 7,1962 in Lowden. He died on September 4, 2012. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Tina) of San Carlos, Mexico; daughter, Linda (Terry) Felber of Cape Coral, Florida; and 4 grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lewis.
