Carole J. Hoffmann, age 81 of Wheatland, died Monday February 1, 2016 at Wheatland Manor Care. Funeral services will be Friday February 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapman Funeral home in Wheatland with Rev. John Cofield officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Wheatland. Carole was born August 24, 1934 to George and Esther (Beckmann) Hoffmann in Wheatland, Iowa. Carole had made a career in banking. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, nature, animals (especially her cats), and always liked to have a good time. She is survived by her sisters Marilyn Edsall of Louisville, Colorado and Jeanette Philpott of Sun Lakes, Arizona. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carole was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and a sister.
