Chase Andrew Minar, age 27 of Clarence, passed away at his home on Thursday February 4, 2021. A celebration of Chase's life will be held Monday February 8, 2021 from 4-8 PM at the Lowden Legion. Chase was born on September 3,1993 to Brett and Melissa Hilbert Minar in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is survived by his children Jordyn and Jayce and their mother Ashley; his parents; brothers Tony Miles of Washington, Iowa, Travis and Logan of Clarence, and Mason of North Liberty; maternal grandparents Ernie and Kathy Hilbert of Wheatland; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Gary and Mavis Minar. Chase liked helping other people, spending time with his kids, building things, frisbee golf, the outdoors and bean bags.
