Dana Lynn Jacobsen, age 44 of Calamus, passed away on Monday May 12, 2014 at her home. Memorial services will be held on Sunday June 8, 2014 at 5:00 P.M at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland with Reverend Sarah Kretzmann officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 8, 2014 from 2-4 P.M at Chapman's in Wheatland. Dana was born on November 1, 1969 to Samuel and Janyce (Stanlake) Baxter in Moline, IL. She married Mike Jacobsen on September 20, 1996 in Las Vegas. Dana loved her jobs, never missing a day. She loved the outdoors, camping, boating & fishing. Dana loved gardening and her tomatoes. She loved people, her friends and most of all, her family. She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter, Nicole Schulz of Wheatland; son, Jacob Jacobsen of Calamus; twin sister, Darla Baxter of Wheatland; mother, Janyce (step dad Jim) Stroyan of Davenport; and nieces, Kassidy & Sammie Flagel. Dana was preceded in death by her father and sister, Rhonda.
