Daniel Lee Werling, age 50, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on March 15, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 20, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with Pastor Tommi Boeder officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Clarence. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M until service time at the funeral home. Dan was born on January 15, 1967 to Marlon Werling and Barbara Debner in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is survived by his daughter Nicole Leigh Werling; mother Barbara Mooney; brothers Craig and Jeff Werling and Jason Mooney; nieces Brittany, Acacia, and Shatany Werling; and nephew Bryan Werling. Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Brett Werling and stepfather, Kenneth Mooney.
