Obituary

Darold L. Wulff, age 87, died Friday morning November 9, 2012 at the Clarence Nursing home. Funeral Services will be Monday November 12, 2012 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. David Mears officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 Sunday at the funeral home in Clarence. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.\n Darold Was born June 30, 2012 to Ernest and Viola Dettmann Wulff in Cedar County. He married Donna Mae Miller on March 10, 1946 in Clarence.\n Survivors include his wife Donna; Son Kevin(Debbie)of Rancho Sata Fe, California; Daughter Marilyn(Howard)Hansen of Lowden; Grandchildren Craig(Molly)Hansen, Chad(Sonu)Hansen, Carrie(Jeff)Pruess, Grace, Alec, Isaac and Callista Wulff; great grandchildren Eric, Jason, Haley, Alex and Ava Hansen and Aubrie, Valerie and Emily Pruess; 2 sisters Verna Petersen and Elda Wagner of Tipton.\n He was preceeded in death by his parents.\n Darold was a lifelong member of the church. He was a farmer and a Funks and Golden Harvest seed corn dealer for 50 years and also sold Anamosa Silos. Darold enjoyed teasing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to help his family, including taking them on vacations. Darold had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing cards with his buddies in the mornings. He was very active on the Dayton Creamery Board of Directors and when it changed to AMPI he served on that board as well. After retirement Darold liked going out and visiting with farmers along with taking trips with his wife.
