Darrell G. Kroh, age 70 of Wheatland, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening November 27, 2019. Memorial services will be at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland on Monday December 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Tessa Cavey officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. also at the church. Darrell was born on February 23, 1949 to Fred and Ruby (Fox) Kroh in Davenport, Iowa. He married Janie Hamann on January 27, 1973 in Wheatland. First and foremost Darrell liked to visit with others. He also enjoyed farming, fishing, watching the Dodgers or Iowa Hawkeyes, playing cards, trying to golf, and spending time with his granddaughter. Darrell also served his country in the National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Janie; son, Kevin (Marinna) Kroh and their daughter Aida of Wheatland; and son, Ross (Stephanie) Jones of Kansas City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Merlyn and an infant brother. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
