Diana V. Hoffner, 66, of Clarence died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a sudden illness.
Diana Hoffner was born on July 19, 1940, in Fort Stotsenberg, Philippines to Mathews Victorio and Caridad Trance.
Funeral services for Diana Hoffner will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mechanicsville, Iowa, on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 9:00 AM, with Father Eugene Benda officiating. Burial will be at Clarence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 on Friday, April 27 at the Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence.
Diana spent most of her childhood in the Philippines until the family immigrated to the United States in 1955. She met and married Gale Hoffner in Honolulu, Hawaii. They were married October 16, 1971. They lived a long and happy life together first in the San Francisco Bay area, then in Clarence, Iowa.
Diana is survived by her husband Gale, seven sisters Edith, Aida, Edna, Nora, Ami, Mary, and Anna as well as numerous nieces and nephews all who will sorely miss her. She was proceeded in death by her parents and a brother Wilfredo.
