Donald E. Feldpausch, 72, of Dewitt died on Friday, February 9,2007, in Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa. Donald E. was born on June 24, 1934 in Dewitt, Iowa to John and Marguerite (Martin) Feldpausch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 13 at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland with Reverend Robert Harness officiating. Burial will be at Big Rock Cemetery in Big Rock, Iowa, with graveside military rites. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, February 12 at Chapman Funeral Home. Don had served in the Navy during Korean War and had worked in the welding business and wrecker business in Dewitt. He enjoyed traveling and was a twins baseball fan. He also enjoyed having coffee with Mike Osmun and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister Alice. He was survived by his son, Christan of New Rock, S.D., three grandchildren, his sister, Dorothy Paarmann of Dewitt, his brothers, Raymond of Dewitt, Joseph (Cheryle) of Fulton, and Tom (Mavis) of York, PA., special friend and companion Martha Petersen of Dewitt, special friend Connie Kagemann of Dewitt, his sister-in-law Arlene Geer of New Liberty, his brother-in-law Art Petersen of New Liberty, and special cousin Wayne Eserhaut of Big Rock.
