Donald B. Griffith of West Liberty and formerly of Tipton, passed away on Sunday July 3, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. There will be no services and his cremains will be buried in the Clarence Cemetery. Don was born May 20, 1940 in Storm Lake, Iowa to James M. and Anna Belle (Blake) Griffith. He married Deone Newman on March 22, 1980 in Fort Madison, Iowa. She passed away on March 17, 2010. There are no immediate survivors. Don was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He honorably served his country in the Army, was a Vietnam Veteran, and was a member of the 101st Airborne.
