Donald Wuestenberg, age 67, of Wheatland, Iowa, died at his home on July 6, 2010. Donald was born August 6, 1942, in Davenport to Marvin and Eileen (Hoffman) Wuestenberg. Donald married Gale Meyer on Dec. 27, 1985, at Wheatland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2010, at St. Paul's United Church Of Christ in Wheatland, Iowa, with Reverend John Cofield officiating. Burial will follow at Allens Grove Cemetery, Rural Dixon. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, July 8, at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. Don was a self-employed, independent truck driver for 50 years. He was a former member of Wheatland Fire Department and Wheatland community Hall Board. He enjoyed camping and NASCAR. He is survived by wife-Gale; daughters-Kay (Jim) Droll of Clarence and Krista (Scott) Shoultz of Huron, South Dakota; grandchildren-Melissa Aston, Madison Shoultz, Josh, Jayce and Jarron Droll; brother-Bill (Pam) of Davenport; sister-Kathy (Joel) Lane of Sparta, Missouri. Don was preceded in death by his parents.
