Donavon W. Stolte, age 70 of Clarence, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday May 31, 2022. Visitation will be held at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Friday June 3, 2022 from 4-7 PM. Private family services will be held with burial in the Lowden Cemetery. Don was born on January 21, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Edwin and Bernice (Conrad) Stolte. He is survived by his brothers Mike of Stanwood, Jim (fiancé Tammie) of Lost Nation, and Kevin of Blue Grass; nieces Kelli (Rod) Hacke, Mandi (Kurt) Feltes, Renee Fonteyne, and Beth (Kristin) Scott; and nephew Jeremy (Abbie) Stolte. Don was preceded in death by his parents. Don was a lifelong farmer, being born and raised on the family farm and living his entire life there. He collected John Deere toys, antiques, and enjoyed playing cards. Don had many friends and would help anybody in need.
