Dorinda Mae Wilhelm, age 71 of Wheatland, passed away unexpectedly in her home Wednesday evening October 8, 2025. Funeral services will be held at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Monday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Inland Cemetery, rural Bennett.

Dorinda was born February 21, 1954 in DeWitt, Iowa to Eldon and Dorothy (Eserhaut) Voelkers. She was married to Fred Wilhelm on October 16, 1993.

Survivors include her husband Fred; her children Justin Voelkers of Ft. Dodge and Akasia Wilhelm of Wheatland; Fred's children Amy (Rodney) Lambert of Reynolds, IL, Jason (Brenda) Wilhelm of Big Rock, and Trent (Lois) Wilhelm of Bennett; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren with 1 special great grandson Kacen Staack.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.

Dorinda worked at various jobs in her life, but the Clarence Nursing Home was her last place of employment. She loved playing cards, constructing puzzles, playing Candy Crush, camping with friends, Pepsi, her roosters, and her dogs Harley and Haley.
