Doris M. Kroemer, age 88, of Lowden, Iowa, died November 17, 2006, at Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Doris was born March 12, 1918, in Kewanee, Illinois to Lionel and Bertha (Bybee) Marquette. Doris was married May 9, 1943 in Stanwood to Ray Kroemer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, November 20, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden, Iowa, with Rev. Victor Young officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 on Sunday, November 19, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and many siblings. She was survived by her husband, Ray of Lowden, son, Lawrence (Sue) of Cedar Rapids, daughter, Emmillee (Dale) Dennison of Eagan, Minnesota, 2 grandsons, Kurt (Christina) and Andrew (Jennifer), granddaughter, Susan, 1 great-grandson and 1 great-granddaughter.
