Dorothy C. Cone, age 93, of Tipton, Iowa, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Dorothy was born November 8, 1914, in Cedar County, Iowa to Forrest G. and Lydia Cleta (Woode) Hipple. Dorothy Married Everette Cone in 1937 in Valporiso, Indiana. He died in 1989. For six years during the 1950s, Dorothy worked as a cashier at Benner Tea Company in Tipton. She then worked for Hartog Bakery for a year and a half. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Red Oak Cemetery, with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Barbara and brother, John Hipple. She has no immediate survivors.
