Dorothy Sennett, age 91, of Lowden, Iowa, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in the Clarence Nursing Home. Dorothy was born October 20, 1919, in Clarence, Iowa, to Fred and Martha (Runge) Feddersen. Dorothy married Dick Sennett May 13, 1938. Visitation and graveside services will be held at a later date. The date and time will be announced. Dorothy was a member of Zion United Church of Christ-Lowden. She was very active in the church and community projects. Her friendliness to all will never be forgotten. She is survived by a son, David (Karen) Sennett of Shueyville; daughter, Karen (Ronnie) Stange of Anamosa; 5 grandchildren and their families, and a large circle of friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers.
