Dustin R. Kay, 15, of Wheatland, Iowa died on Sunday, February 4, 2007, in rural Wheatland. Dustin Kay was born on September 29, 1991, in Davenport, Iowa, to Ricky Kay and Brenda Biddle. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, February 8, 2007, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland with Reverend Laird Keever officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at St. Paul's Church. Dustin was a freshman at Calamus-Wheatland High School. He was a 4-H and FFA member and worked on the family farm. He loved motorsports and was an avid racer in the 4 cylinder class the last 2 years at area race tracks. Dustin Kay is survived by parents Ricky and Brenda, brother Justin of Wheatland, grandmothers JoAnn Kay and Linda (Mark) Davis both of Wheatland. Great Grandmother Helen Witte of Toronto, Step great grandfather Rolland Davis of Wheatland, Uncle Randy (Kim) Kay of Wheatland, Step uncle Darin and Andrea Davis of Wheatland, Aunt Rhonda (Scott) Drechsler of Eldridge, Aunt Jodie Snowbarger of Wheatland and Mike Snowbarger of Wheatland, cousins Jason Kay, Nicki (Scott) Dierks, Ryan, Rodney and Rachel Drechsler, Jalen, Brandon and Mikayla Snowbarger. Dustin Kay was proceeded in death by an infant brother and grandfathers Lanny Kay and Eugene Biddle.
