Edmund Charles Caes, Jr., age 67, of Hale, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, Iowa. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery, Massillon, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Ed. Ed is survived by his children, John (Jamie) Caes, Madonna (Rocky Matthias) Caes, Stephen Caes, and Dominic (Laura) Caes; grandchildren, Kyle, Christian, Skyler, Dylan, Alexus, Lynzie, Maesi, Maddie, Trinity, and two on the way; one great grandchild on the way; siblings, Frank (Susan) Caes, Betty (Richard) Hansen, Ben (Carla) Caes, Joe Caes and Gert Watts; many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and many special friends. Edmund was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Paul and Ralph Caes, and an infant sister Sally.
