Edna Mae Bentrott died on Friday November 11, 2016 at the Clarence Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 4-7 on Monday November 14, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. There will be a private family burial at Inland Cemetery. Edna was born February 13,1928 to John "Ed" Mueller and Anna Mae Myers in Rural Tipton, Iowa. She married Delmar George Bentrott on April 11, 1945 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland. Delmar passed away on July 15, 2003. They were married for 58 years. To this marriage was born their son Gary Ray on September 8, 1945. She is survived by her son Gary and wife Sherry of Bennett, Iowa; 3 grandchilden Cheryl (Mike) Middagh of Muscatine, Steven Bentrott of Lowden and Rick (Merea) of Bennett; 7 great grandchildren Collin Telsrow, Conner Telsrow, Shannon Telsrow, Hayden Bentrott, Harper Bentrott, Jenna Bentrott and Grady Bentrott; a sister-in-law Elenor Bentrott of Lost Nation and a sister and brother-in-law Chuck and Margie Tubbs of Davenport. Edna attended school in Bennett and also Wheatland. She was a farmers wife and mother and enjoyed dancing, playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America (Sunbury Camp). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter Dawn in 1988.
