Eileen Faye Flynn, age 68, passed away suddenly on Saturday October 7, 2017. Memorial services will be at Hope Lutheran Church in Dixon with pastors Diane Prichard and Tessa Cavey officiating on Friday October 13 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery. Visitation will be at Chapman's in Wheatland on Thursday October 12 from 3-7 p.m. Eileen was born on November 18, 1948 to Earl H. and June H. Meyer Peekenschneider in Davenport,Iowa. Eileen had a passion for golfing, fishing, NASCAR, football, and was a Hawkeye fan. She also enjoyed playing with her grandkids, going to cross country meets, and was her kids' and grandkids' biggest fan. Eileen was a member of the Dixon American Legion Auxiliary and was a mom to everybody. She is survived by her special friend of 27 years, Jan Schnede of Calamus; sons, Todd (Tammy) of Wheatland, Chad (Justine) of Broomfield, CO, Brian (Amy) of Dixon, and Brett (Deana) of Broomfield, CO; daughter, Katie (Gilbert) Gomez of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren, Karissa Mayerhofer, Miranda Mayerhofer, Sawyer Flynn, Nick Noel, Alexis Flynn, McLaine Flynn, Zachary Flynn, Collin & Kevin Flynn, Jocelyn Gomez, and Carver Gomez; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Ronald, Kevin, and Gene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Wheatland Ambulance.
