Eldon E. Ruchtozke, age 69, of Tipton, Iowa, died Monday, July 17, 2006, in University Hospital, Iowa City. Eldon was born April 9,1937, in Clarence, Iowa to Edward and Ida (Luettjohann) Ruchotzke. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, Iowa, with Rev. David Mears officiating. Burial will be at St.John's Cemetery in Clarence, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at the Funeral Home. Eldon had been a resident for 40 years at New Horizon Residential Care in Tipton,since the closing of the facility he had been a resident of Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab. He had worked at Cedar Employment Opportunity. Memorials to Camp Courageous of Iowa. A week of vacation at Camp Courageous was always the highlight of Eldons year. Eldon was preceded in death by both of his Parents, his sister Elizabeth Wiebel and brother Harold in infancy.
