Elizabeth "Sally" Meyer, age 101 of Clarence, passed away on Thursday March 16, 2023 at the Clarence Nursing Home. Services will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ fireside room in Clarence on Saturday April 1, 2023 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Matt Schneider-Adams officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time at the church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Sally was born August 16, 1921 in Lucas County, Iowa to Howard and Myrtle Fuller Tacker. She was married to Orville Meyer in 1940 (died in 1969) and in July of 1977 to Richard Meyer (died in 2003).

She is survived by her daughter Janet Rowell of Cedar Rapids; stepdaughter Constance Kahl of Cedar Rapids; granddaughters Erica and Stacey Meyer; 3 step grandchildren; many stepgreat grandchildren; daughter-in-law Sandra Meyer of Clarence; and many nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; brother Marvin; sister Phyllis Wendt; son Douglas; and stepson Lewis Meyer.

Sally enjoyed watching the Cubs, wintering in Mesa, Arizona, going to the casino, and playing bingo. Sally graduated with the class of 1938 from Clarence High School. She worked for Claney's grocery store in her earlier years along with being a secretary for Dr. Utley and the Clarence Coop.
