Ethel M. Strackbein, age 85, of Wheatland, Iowa, died February 13, 2011, at the Wheatland Manor Nursing Home. Ethel was born May 8, 1925, in Big Rock, Iowa, to Albert and Emma (Riedesel) Strackbein. Ethel never married. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at St. Paul's Church in Wheatland, Iowa, with Rev. John Cofield officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. Music will be provided by Sue Monson (organist) and Rita Hart (vocalist). Visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Church. Pallbearers will be Dennis Puck, Doug Wenndt, Rich Feltes, Kevin Crosthwaite, Darrell Kroh, and Kevin Kroh.
