Felicia F. Skala, 48, of Wheatland, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home after a long struggle with MS. Felicia was born on September 1, 1960, to Robert and Peggy (Stewart) Vens. Felicia was a loving mother and daughter who had a contagious sense of humor. She always enjoyed being on the farm and at family gatherings. She will be truly missed and forever in our hearts. Memorial services for Felicia Skala will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, Iowa, with Reverend William Kneemiller officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30am until service time on Tuesday. Felicia is survived by her daughters Jennifer Skala and fiance Keith Zerbee, Katey Skala, and Patricia Skala all of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren Makayla and Faith; mother Peggy Vens of Wheatland; sister Tina Smiley of Hiawatha; brother Todd Vens of Madrid; and nieces and nephews. Felicia was proceeded in death by her father.
