Frank Fisher, Jr, age 95, of Clarence, Iowa, died July 8, 2010, in his home. Frank was born January 11, 1915, in Clarence to Frank and Elizabeth (Dettmann) Fisher. Frank Married Evelyn Meier December 21, 1941, at Clarence. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at St. John's United Church Of Christ in Clarence, Iowa, with Reverend Jeffrey Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Clarence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, July 12, at Chapman Funeral Home. He had worked as an insurance agent and farmed. He was a member of First Baptist-Church of the Brethren in Cedar Rapids. He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Brethren. Frank is survived by a son, Dennis of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren-Anthony Fisher of Ames, Gregory (Darath) Fisher of Pella, Jeffrey (Wendy) Fisher of Deerfield, Illinois; great-grandchildren-Trey, Malik, Chase, Elias; and brother Leo (Wilma) Fisher of Clarence. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sandra, and his wife Evelyn in February 2010.
