Frieda A. Conrad, age 87, passed away on Thursday June 27, 2013 at the Clarence Nursing Home. There will be private graveside services at the St. John's Cemetery in Clarence with Reverend David Mears officiating. Frieda was born on August 3, 1925 to Fred and Viola (Moeller) Siemsen in Cedar County, Iowa. She married Leonard Conrad on June 25, 1947 in Clarence. He died August 23, 2004. Frieda was an Avon rep. in Clarence for 14 years and also was a waitress at the Lowden Truck Stop and George's Steak House in Stanwood. She loved bowling, golfing and needlework. She also loved to draw and paint along with making crafts and cooking. She is survived by her daughter, Myra (Gene) Krenz of Cedar Rapids;\ntwo grandchildren, T. Scott Krenz of Minneapolis, MN. and Jusdyn (Ramona)Krenz of Cedar Rapids; and two great grandchildren, Collin and Madison Krenz. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
