Gary "Bo-Jack" Roelf, age 69, of Clarence, Iowa, died at his home November 12, 2009. Gary was born in Allison, Iowa, January 2, 1940, to Kermit Roelf and Louise McGreggor. He married Cheryl Armstrong on March 26, 1988, at St. John's UCC in Clarence. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, with Karmen Jamison officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 on Friday, November 13, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Military honors will follow the service at the Onion Grove Quarry north of Clarence. Gary is survived by his wife Cheryl; two daughters, Robin of Clarence and Deb (Terry) Wagner of Clarence; two Sons, Coby (Audrie) of Aurora, Illinois, and Chad (Carrie) of Milan, Illinois; his brother Bob of Iowa City; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.
