Glenda M. Lee, age 77 of Wheatland, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday September 22, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. There will be a public graveside service on Thursday, September 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery in Wheatland with Karmen Jamison officiating.

Glenda was born May 17, 1948 to Gilmore and Elaine (Dann) Schanze in her aunt's home in Clinton County. She married Jim Lee on August 17, 1968 at the Toronto Community Church.

Surviving Glenda are her husband Jim; daughters Laurie (Terry) Stebral of Iowa City and Pamela (Jason) Martensen of Onslow; grandchildren Alaina (Ryan) Wilkin, Lexi (Zane) Boswell, Avery (fiance' Kailee) Martensen, and Trey Stebral; great grandson Baker Boswell and one more great grandchild on the way; and stepsisters Carmalee Conrad, Sherami Thines and Jolene Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sherrie Dake; and stepfather Emil Hack.

Glenda was a lifetime member of the Toronto Community Church. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing softball and basketball and also loved golfing and playing cards. Glenda truly loved the farm and cultivating the crops, and was a Cubs and Bears fan while always being a Lost Nation Bobcat through and through.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
