Gregory J. Tenley, 60, of Stanwood, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, Iowa, after a short illness. Gregory Tenley was born on January 16, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to James and Elizabeth (Johnston) Tenley. He was a farmer. Gregory Tenley's body was cremated with no visitation or services. Memorials may be sent to Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House or the Stanwood Fire Department. Gregory Tenley is survived by his son Roland (Heather) Tenley of Peoria, Illinois; his father James of Stanwood; brothers Bill (Darcie) of Stanwood and Scott (Carlene) of Olin; and three grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his mother.
