Helen D. Witte, age 90, of Toronto, Iowa, died at West Wing Place, Dewitt, on April 27, 2010. Helen was born July 14, 1919, in Cedar County, Iowa, to Louis and Minnie (Schwein) Koch. Helen married Melvin Witte on December 27, 1967, in Florida. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Davenport Memorial Park. A private graveside service will be held. There are no visitation arrangements with Chapman Funeral Home-Wheatland. She is survived by her sons Larry (Barb) Biddle of Toronto, Iowa, and Donald Biddle of Wheatland; daughter-in-law Linda Davis of Wheatland; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, son Eugene, and great grandson Dustin Kay.
