Hilda Schloemer, age 95, of Lowden, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home in Wheatland, Iowa. Hilda was born on September 2, 1913, in Lowden to Fred and Dorothea (Kroeger) Schloemer. Funeral services for Hilda will be at 10:30am on Monday, April 20, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden, with Reverend Victor Young officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30am until service time at the church on Monday. Hilda is survived by her two nieces Sylvia Evans of West Monroe, Louisiana, and Cryston Coe of Bettendorf, Iowa. Hilda was proceeded in death by her parents, brother Edwin, and sister Selma.
