Irene A. Frey, 83, of Clarence, Iowa died Sunday, February 25, 2007 in her home after a sudden illness. Irene was born on June 9, 1923, in Berlin, Germany. Irene was married to August Frey on December 22, 1944, in Ihllienworth, Germany. Funeral services for Irene Frey will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence, Iowa. Visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Irene Frey is survived by her sons, Heinz (Rita) of Germany and Rudy (Kitty) of Indianola; daughter Hanni (Steve) Hernandez of Decorah, and 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband on March 26, 2003.
