Irma L. Dircks, 81, of Clarence, Iowa died Friday, January 13, 2006 at Prairie Hill Assisted Living in Tipton. Irma Dircks was born on December 14, 1924 in Clarence to Richard Hulse and Eleanor Boettcher. Irma Dircks married Darrel Dircks August 22nd 1943 at Clarence. He died June 14, 1994. Irma was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, women's fellowship, and adult choir. She had been a 4-H leader for many years. She also belonged to farm bureau and Music aid, and Federated women' Club. Irma and her late husband Darrel operated Homeway Homes dealership for many years. Visitation will be held at 2:00-5:00 P.M. Sunday at Chapman Funeral Home. A memorial service at 10:30 A.M. Monday, January 16th at St. John's United Church of Christ. Reverend David Mears will be presiding. Burial will be at St.John's Church Cemetery in Clarence Iowa. Irma is survived by two sons, Richard (Pam) of Marion and Robert (Diane) of Clarence; a daughter Rosalyn (Bob) Brandt of Ames; a brother Merlin (Darlene) Hulse of Clarence. Irma is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established
