James R."Rudy" Hepler, 33, of Lowden, Iowa died Monday, February 13, 2006 at Genesis East Medical Center Davenport from a blood infection.
Rudy Hepler was born on August, 1972 in Bethesda, Maryland to Fred L. Hepler and Brenda Moore. Rudy Hepler married Diana McDonnell (Schocker) April 5, 2003 at Wheatland.
Jim attended high school in Hampton, Iowa and 3 years at North Iowa Community College in Mason City,Iowa.He had worked as a salesman. Jim loved his family dearly, Michelle and James were the "Eye" of his life. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed most any sport,he had a photograpahic memory for sports trivia. He also was a motorcycle enthusiast along with golf. He was the best Cub fan ever.
Visitation is Wednesday February 15th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland Iowa. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland, Iowa on Thursday at 10:30 am. Reverend Laird Keever will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's church Cemetery
Rudy is survived by his wife, Diana and children Michelle and James; his father Fred Hepler and wife Amy of Champaign, Illinois; mother Brenda Hepler of Detroit, Michigan; step-sisters-Erin (Keith) Owen of Austin Texas, Betsy Lenzi of Chicago, Natalie Lenzi of Champaign, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Robert Hepler and Valerie and Robert Moore.
