Janice E. Miller, age 69, of Lowden, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at at her home from lung cancer. Janice was born June 23, 1940, in Maquoketa to William and Bernitta Peters. Janice married Louis Miller at Davenport in 1959. Janice's body has been cremated with private services Saturday, October 10, 2009, at the family farm. Arrangements were made with Chapman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Clarence. Janice was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband Louis; her mother Bernitta Noble of LeClaire; sons Brett (Melanie) of Lowden, Brian (Christi) of Calamus, Brad (Brenda) of Lowden; brother Billy Peters of LeClaire; grandchildren Dustin, Melissa, Sarah, Lisa, Travis, Dalton, Taylor, Brady; and 1 step grandchild Vanessa.
